Two killers will face each other in a Connecticut courtroom, Oct. 28, William Devin Howell, 45, accused serial killer and Jonathan Mills. Jonathan Mills, convicted killer of 4, former cellmate of Howell’s is scheduled to testify against Howell. William Devin Howell is accused of the murder of 5 women and one man then hiding 7 bodies behind a New Britian shopping mall.

 

William Devin Howell is serving a 15 year sentence for the murder of Nilsa Arizmendi, 33. Arizmendi was last seen alive in July 2003, when she went into Howell’s van. Nilsa Arizmendi body was found buried with the other 6 victims behind the mini mall.

Jonathan Mills shared a cell with Howell at Corrigan-Radgowski Correctional Center in Uncasville, where Mills claims that Howell told him of the murders. Jonathan Mills is serving a life sentence for stabbing and killing 4 people, two women and two children in Guilford in 2000, according to the Hartford Courant.

 

According to Mills, Howell told him about the murders and where their bodies could be when he was contemplating suicide. Howell told Mills details of the murders which enabled Mills to draw a map that lead authorities to the discovery of 3 more bodies. Mills also stated that Howell held  Nilsa Arizmendi body for 2 weeks after he had killed her, NBC News.

 

Under Connecticut law William Devin Howell, if convicted will not face the death penalty. Howell faces life in prison with the possible of parole. If Howell is convicted, Jonathan Mills would receive reward money in the amount of $150,000.
